HYDRAULIC STARTER MOTORS

GALI hydraulic starters are designed for diesel engines, emergency marine applications, mining, and offshore oil installations. Their closed hydraulic system ensures high reliability, making them ideal for emergency situations after long periods of inactivity. Manual activation makes them suitable when no external power is available.

Despite their compact size, they offer excellent performance. Made from high-strength cast aluminum, they are lightweight, though they can be manufactured from cast iron for mining environments where spark-generating metals are prohibited.

These starters have low energy consumption and operate within a pressure range of 100 to 207 bar. Their rapid engagement enables fast start-up in black starts.

They require no external lubrication, promoting a cleaner installation. Their resistance to humidity, saline atmospheres, and high temperatures ensures minimal maintenance.

They are compatible with standard SAE or custom mounting interfaces, making retrofitting easy. They can be approved by classification societies like DNV-GL, Bureau Veritas, Lloyd’s Register, ABS, KR, JG or CCS.

Versions for ATEX environments are available for hazardous areas. All starters are certified under ATEX 2014/34/EU and IECEx standards.
