Description of the A17 air starter
The GALI A17 air starter motor has been developed for its installation in internal combustion engines, main and auxiliary reciprocating, with an approximate displacement of up to 15 l. Its remarkably high torque, together with its reduced dimensions, lightness and low air consumption, is a guarantee of success even in the most demanding applications. The geared rotor concept provides high durability and efficiency.
The GALI A17 air starter motor is ready to operate directly at 40 bar, without the need for any auxiliary pressure reduction system. It is equipped with an integrated overspeed safety system to protect the engine.
It is a pre-engaged type, does not require external lubrication. Its modular geometry allows multiple mounting and retrofitting possibilities even in the smallest spaces.
