ATEX Electric start motor

Gali electrical start motors are designed to be installed in motors that operate in gas, vapor, dust and Mining explosive atmospheres, replacing the original starter. The flameproof Ex d electrical starters are ATEX certified for category 2GD and M2 for IIB+H2 gases and IIIC dust. Restricted breathing Ex nR electric starters are ATEX certified for category 3G and IIC gases.

Keeping the same assembly system as the original starter motor, Gali starters can be built with 12V or 24V versions with powers up to 15kW. These electric starters can be installed in a wide variety of systems as small generators or large diesel pumps, operating within ambient temperatures from -20ºC to +60ºC, reaching -25ºC with the flameproof version.
