combustion engines, main and auxiliary reciprocating, with an approximate displacement between 150 and 300 l. Its remarkably high torque, together with its reduced dimensions, lightness and low air consumption, is a guarantee of success even in the most demanding applications. The geared rotor concept provides high durability and high efficiency.
The GALI A47 air starter motor is ready to operate directly at 30 bar, without the need for any auxiliary pressure reduction system. It is a pre-engaged type, lubrication free device, which is equipped with an integrated overspeed safety system to protect the engine.
Its modular design allows multiple mounting and retrofitting possibilities even in the smallest spaces. It is also available in “Z” shape version for complex mounting cases.
For very large engine displacements or large system inertias, or for redundancy requirements, Twin A47 option is possible.
